Missions

Missions is at the heart of First Baptist Galveston. We believe we are called to share the love of Christ not only within our church, but throughout our community and around the world. Our Missions Ministry exists to provide opportunities for people of all ages to serve, give, and go.

Locally, we are committed to meeting needs and building relationships within our community. Through outreach programs, partnerships, and service projects, we seek to make a tangible difference in the lives of those around us. Whether it’s supporting families, helping those in need, or serving alongside local organizations, we are passionate about being the hands and feet of Jesus.

Globally, we support mission efforts that extend far beyond our city. Through partnerships with missionaries and organizations, we are able to share the Gospel in places where it may not otherwise be heard. These efforts are supported through prayer, financial giving, and mission trips.

Mission trips provide a unique opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and experience God’s work firsthand. Participants have the chance to serve in different cultural contexts, build relationships, and see the impact of the Gospel in powerful ways. These experiences often deepen faith and create a lasting perspective on God’s global mission.
